Blessings

               A member arrived at the sweat two weeks ago and told us she just saw an eagle out by the lane.  All heads turned east, and sure enough a spotted eagle flew up the driveway and over the lodge.  I blessed the lodge anyway, but I’m sure it wasn’t necessary since a real eagle had apparently already done it – probably much more effectively.  Believing there are layers to things, this member also took the eagle as a sign that she should do her vision quest this year where the eagles are.  I think her love for all beings and the spirit world is so great and true, that why shouldn’t eagles follow her around?
